1. Introduction
By registering for and attending the PRAS Conference (“the Event”), you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions. PRAS is committed to providing a professional, respectful, inclusive, and legally compliant environment for all participants.
2. Scope
These Terms and Conditions apply to all individuals attending the Event, including delegates, speakers, sponsors, exhibitors, and staff, whether participating in person or virtually.
3. Professional Conduct
All attendees must behave in a professional, courteous, and respectful manner at all times. Participants agree to:
- Treat all individuals with dignity and respect.
- Value diverse perspectives and contributions.
- Engage in constructive and respectful discussions.
4. Participation and Communication
Attendees agree to:
- Allow others to speak without interruption.
- Communicate clearly, concisely, and remain on topic.
- Listen actively and respectfully.
- Avoid dominating discussions and support balanced participation.
5. Inclusivity
PRAS is committed to an inclusive and welcoming environment. Attendees must:
- Encourage contributions from all participants.
- Be mindful of tone, language, and behaviour.
- Respect all individuals regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, age, disability, or any protected characteristic.
6. Prohibited Conduct
The following behaviour is strictly prohibited:
- Harassment, intimidation, discrimination, or abusive conduct.
- Offensive or derogatory comments or materials.
- Inappropriate physical contact or unwelcome advances.
- Deliberate disruption of sessions or activities.
- Threatening language or behaviour.
- Possession of items that could be used as weapons.
Harassment includes, but is not limited to, offensive comments, intimidation, stalking, unwelcome recording or photography, or sustained disruption.
7. Responsibility and Professionalism
Attendees agree to:
- Attend sessions on time and prepared where applicable.
- Conduct themselves in a responsible and appropriate manner at all times.
- Address disagreements constructively.
- Refrain from raising personal grievances during sessions.
8. Confidentiality
Participants must:
- Respect the confidentiality of discussions where indicated.
Not disclose sensitive or commercially confidential information without permission.
9. Competition Law Compliance
All participants must comply with applicable competition laws. Discussions must not include:
- Pricing
- Market sharing
- Bid rigging
- Commercially sensitive information
If in doubt, attendees must seek guidance from a PRAS representative.
10. Venue Compliance
Attendees must comply with all venue rules, including health and safety requirements. Any damage caused due to misconduct may result in liability for the individual or organisation responsible.
11. Recording and Use of AI
Attendees are not permitted to record conference sessions using audio, video, transcription, or AI tools without explicit permission from PRAS.
AI tools must not be used to record, transcribe, or summarise sessions.
12. Photography and Videography
Photography and video recording may take place during the Event. By attending, you consent to the use of your image and likeness by PRAS for promotional, archival, or other lawful purposes.
13. Data Sharing
By registering for the Event, you agree that your registration details will be shared with partner Innovate UK Business Connect.
14. Reporting and Enforcement
Any breach of these Terms and Conditions should be reported to a PRAS representative or event organiser.
PRAS reserves the right to take appropriate action, including:
- Removal from the Event
- Restriction from future events
- Further action where necessary
15. Acceptance
By attending the Event, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.
